Project aims and objectives:
- to align journalism practices in Ukraine with European media standards while sharing the unique Ukrainian experience of war reporting for developing peace and solution journalism across Europe;
- to introduce the EU media studies innovative course “European peace and solution journalism” in order to train highly qualified journalists able to work in diverse independent media covering stories from the problem-solving and peace-searching perspectives;
- to conduct research and provide recommendations for journalists, media managers and appropriate NGOs that will serve as a ground for transforming editorial policies of newsrooms allying them with the best EU journalism standards.
- to hold practical trainings for media practitioners seeking to grow skills and knowledge in democratic European principles of journalism, specifically solution-based types of war and post-war coverage;
- to create a public awareness campaign for educating responsible media consumption through public events and informational activities etc.
